Kimber Lanning on 10% shift benefits for state budget

Posted on June 5, 2009. Filed under: Boomer Business |

Kimber Lanning is the founder of Local First Arizona and we recognize her as a true force to reckon with! She is an advocate for buying local and the benefits that often go unnoticed. She has many fruitful conversations with legislators, thought leaders and other community activists that create positive change in Phoenix neighborhoods. In this fast-paced hour, learn about some of the reasons for blight; cool things about our light rail system; and the huge impact we could make on Arizona’s future if we each agreed to and practiced a 10% shift (i.e., choose local vendor/provider instead of big box just 10% of the time).
