Karen Lopinto talks about New Life and second chances

Karen Lopinto has been a Chayah Ministries volunteer for nine years, working with incarcerated youth in the Arizona system. Karen and other volunteers serve to demonstrate the power of God’s love and the power of human caring to effect change in young lives that have gotten off to a rocky start. There have been 48 three-day retreats so far, and Karen describes the Faith, Hope and Love that builds over the course of the weekend.

The food and tee shirts, worship and singing lift everyone up. The hope is that the participants will always remember the seeds that were planted and make better choices in the future.

The cost is $55 per youth, $2200 for the 40 boys and $1650 for the 30 girls per Chayah. This translates to $3850 for one Chayah and $7700 for the year. Call Karen at her business, Coyote Targeted Promotions, 623-931-7028, if you would like more information about volunteering or to make a donation to keep the program going.
